Hong Kong is amazing! Imagine the nightlife, lights, high rises, and sidewalk traffic of Vegas and New York City put together times 10.
Then mix in some great food, nice people, temples, and mountain monasteries.
The view from my room:
Photos from my morning walk:
Herbal medicine shop:
Bamboo for scaffolding:
Black sesame buns at Mickey D’s:
Green tea and red bean muffin from Starbucks:
And of course dim sum every morning before dance classes!
There is a peaceful public resting place in the middle of the madness and bustle of the city…
There is a beautiful temple near my hotel…
This man above is hanging big incense coils on the ceiling of the temple. I’ve never seen these before. The fill the air with aromatic smoke from above.
Hong Kong at night is very exciting!
I take pictures of cats wherever I find them:
This is me and my beautiful host Alice:
She had shown me such a wonderful time. Her dance students have worked so hard and been a pleasure to work with.
And here is a video of a hilarious random boom box rave of 4 people and a Pomeranian in the middle of the street:
