Hong Kong

I have just arrived in Hong Kong. This its my first time here and I am so lucky to have a sweet and beautiful host, Alice, to greet me and show me around. I am only here one night before I leave for Shenzhen but I will return after 5 days to spend more time here.

Here are some photos of the beautiful view out of my 70th floor hotel window.  Densely packed buildings stretch as far as the eye can see.

Alice ordered for us at dinner and I’m glad she did because the food was so good! Veggies and tofu, a whole steamed fish that her parents chose live from the tank, and mango swallow’s nest soup for dessert….yes the nest of a bird. It was tasty and supposed to be very good for your health.

Alice had an adorable little cat named Queen.

Tomorrow we travel by bus to China.
